Experimenting with my air-fryer is so fun and I love being able to get that fried texture without all the added oil. These pizza roll were so delicious (and easy!) that I had to share them with you all. If you’d prefer a longer pizza roll you can absolutely use a whole cheese stick and use the egg roll wrappers instead of the wonton wrappers! Different shape but will yield the same result!
Serves: 1-2 +/- (Depending on how many you want) – Cooktime: 15 minutes +/-

EGGROLLS:
- 8 +/- Eggroll Wrappers
- 2 Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, (cut in half lengthwise, then sliced into 4 parts)
- 4 Tablespoons Red Pizza Sauce
- Italian Seasoning
- Salt
- Any other desired toppings (remember that you don’t have much room!)
- Nonstick Spray
DIRECTIONS:
1.) To prep, cut cheese sticks in half lengthwise then cut into 4 equal parts (this will yield 8 pieces per cheese stick). Repeat with other cheese stick. You will now have a total of 16 small pieces of mozzarella cheese.
2.) Preheat air-fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare wonton wrappers by wetting the outside perimeter of the wrapper with water. (Your finger is the best tool for this). Add 2 slices of cheese to each wonton wrapper, along with half a tablespoon of red sauce. Add a dash of Italian seasoning and salt. Add in any other desired toppings. Make sure not to add too many extra toppings, or you won’t be able to seal the wontons together.
3.) Fold opposite corners of the wonton to reach each other and seal sides together. Repeat with the two remaining corners. Make sure to pinch the wrappers together tightly to create a good seal!
4.) Place in air-fryer and make sure wontons are not overlapping. Spray lightly with avocado/olive oil spray and cook for 6 minutes, or until crispy and browned.
5.) Garnish with Italian seasoning and serve with a side of warm marinara sauce. Enjoy!
