Cheddar Cheese Spread

My mom used to make this cheese spread for special occasions and I always looked forward to it. She’s made a few different variations over the years, but my favorites are the Original & Charred Jalapeno versions. They are the perfect addition to any charcuterie board and even better spread onto a crisp cracker with a smear of fig jam.

Serves: 2 Cups +/- Spreadable Cheese –  Prepare Time: 5 minutes or less +/-

  • 4 Ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Ounces Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese
  • 2 Teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Brandy (Optional)
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1.) Grate cheddar and pepper jack cheese. Set cream cheese on counter to soften.

2.) To a food processor, add shredded cheese, softened cream cheese, seasonings, heavy cream, and brandy. Blend on high until all ingredients are combined.

3.) Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with crackers and jam. Enjoy!

1.) Seed & cut a jalapeno in half. Char both sides 5-7 minutes each side on a cast iron pan set to medium heat. Add to food processor along with other ingredients to combine.
